Damn! Those of us who got to know Ed are truly saddened by the loss of such a fine man. I’ll always remember Ed and hope he is somehow reunited with his wonderful “Coutchiemobile”. If that car could talk oh! what tales it could tell. Rest In Peace Ed.

I'm sadden to hear of Ed's passing. The last time I saw him it was Newt's memorial and we knew then he was fighting with another bout of cancer, but he was as upbeat as ever. Ed was creative, we always looked forward to getting his crazy Christmas cards that he sent during his worldly travels. He will be missed.

Ed was a kind and gentle soul; always willing to help and sacrifice his time for others and regularly carried more than his fair share of the "heavy lifting"... on any project. Ed had an uphill battle but fought the valiant fight to the very end. Condolences to the Coutchie Family.

Rest in peace, my friend.

Tom’s comments are spot-on. Ed was a unique character ... always fun to be around. After college, he followed his dreams and, when challenged time-and-again with cancers, he fought those battles with great courage and dignity. I never heard Ed complain about his illnesses. He was always focused on the joys of life. God bless him.

Remembering Ed puts a smile on my face, I really liked him. Being up here in the North West I don't get to see or hear much of the Brothers lives. I remember Ed well, the long conservations I had with him when we lived in close proximity in "the house" for several years. While we were conversing, he use to launder his white levis, put them on pants stretchers and hang them on the outside stairs metal railings.
RIP Ed!
